India Berean Fellowship Backpack Project
NH / Backpack Project
The Berean Fellowship of Churches is excited to launch a partnership with Hope Venture. We seek through this partnership to provide tangible resources to our church-planting pastors in India. Hope Venture resulted from Cynci Petersen’s burden for the impoverished people she encountered on trips to India. Founded in 2009, Hope Venture exists to bring hope and healing to some of the world’s poorest people.

About India Berean Fellowship Backpack Project
Strong Ties, New Possibilities
Planting churches is in the DNA of the Berean Fellowship. So how do backpacks help that vision?
The Indian Berean pastors have shown an incredible desire to share the gospel and plant churches in the next village. Through the backpack project these local pastors will evangelize and seek to see God open new doors of ministry for future church planting work in the years to come.
Hope Venture provides us with the opportunity to support the established churches in India to think about the next village over.
About the Backpack Project
It’s hard for us to imagine how $10 for a backpack full of school supplies can make such a difference in someone’s life. We often take our education for granted. We can’t imagine living in a country that ranks first in the world for illiteracy; and where some children take their own lives because their parents can’t afford even 16 cents for one pencil and notebook that would be in this backpack.
The backpacks provided by this project will be filled with a year’s worth of school supplies and will be distributed in areas where there are Berean pastors who care about the people in need. They are reaching out to these children and their families with the love of Christ… a love that reaches to the neediest among us. Please join us in bringing Christ to the hopeless.
Our desire is to provide 1,000 backpacks to our Berean Pastor’s in India. A team from the USA Berean Fellowship will assist with the local evangelism and distribution efforts in March.
