About Kristin Mapson India Trip 2026
I am excited to partner with Hope Venture this summer on their trip to India. This trip will be unlike anything I have experienced before. I will not be going to these place to roll up my sleeves or even going out into the streets to evangelize, though my heart is willing if God asks me to do that. I believe God is inviting me into a different type of international ministry than my previous trip to Taiwan with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. I have come to learn my strengths as being a friend, an encourager, and a connector. Hopefully my heart will look like Jesus' heart; He noticed and cared for those who were afflicted and needy. We are all "needy in spirit" though some of us have come from much, others are struggling to overcome barriers of coming from little. Not becuase of anything they did, but because of their circumstances. My goal while in India will be to meet and encourage the local leaders who are the ones doing the "hands and feet" work of Jesus in their country. I am hoping to be a blessing and a mobilizing presence as they strive to "act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8). I greatly admire those who heard God's call to diligently take care of and share the gospel with the unreached people around them. I look forward to learning about their hearts for their community and how I can continue to be a part of God's Kingdom work in India.
